Tadej Pogačar Claims His 4th Tour de France Victory in 2025
On July 27, 2025, Paris was buzzing with excitement, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the 2024 Olympic Games. The image of Remco Evenepoel climbing Rue Lepic is still vivid in everyone's memory, but this year, it was Wout van Aert and Tadej Pogačar who lit up the legendary cobblestones of Montmartre to wrap up an exceptional edition of the Tour de France.
Under the rain, the Yellow Jersey once again electrified the capital. The Slovenian rider secured his fourth overall victory, ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and Florian Lipowitz, cementing his place even further in the history of modern cycling.
After 21 stages, the final gap to Vingegaard stood at 4 minutes and 24 seconds — a clear sign of Pogačar’s dominance and consistency throughout this 2025 Tour de France.
From Paris to Slovenia:
This victory resonates particularly deeply in Slovenia, a land of champions and passionate cyclists. That’s precisely where the spirit of the Tour now heads next: L’Étape Slovenia by Tour de France, taking place on September 6–7, 2025 in Kranj.
A unique event combining sporting challenge, Slovenian hospitality, and breathtaking scenery, on the very roads where one of the brightest generations of world-class cyclists was born.
This year the participants will have the chance to ride alongside Matej Mohorič, another iconic figure of Slovenian cycling and 3rd place finisher in Stage 21, just behind Van Aert and Ballerini. L’Étape Slovenia will allow amateur riders to cycle the same training routes that shaped this bold and technically gifted athlete, as the route is crossing the villages of Komenda & Podblica, respectively the villages whre Tadej and Matej grew up.

Ben Healy: The Fighting Spirit of Ireland
One of the most inspiring stories of this Tour came from Ben Healy, the Irish rider crowned Super Combatif of the 2025 edition. His relentless attacks, solo efforts, and fearless racing style made him a fan favorite across the stages.
His fighting spirit will now echo in L’Étape Ireland by Tour de France, where passionate amateurs will be invited to take on the roads of the Emerald Isle in the same bold spirit. it’s the perfect setting to relive the courage that defined Healy’s performance this July.

Scandinavian Power: Jonas Abrahamsen and L’Étape Trondheim
Another standout in the peloton was Jonas Abrahamsen from Team Uno-X, whose attacking mindset and unique determination lead him to first ever stage victory for Team Uno-X during stage 11 in Toulouse. In addition, Tobias Halland Johannessen broke all expectations to reach 6th place in GC at only 25 years old after 3 intense weeks.
For fans in Norway and across Scandinavia, the Tour’s flame continues with L’Étape Trondheim by Tour de France, where Uno-X team riders’ performance will serve as inspiration on Norway’s dramatic fjord-lined routes. Expect steep climbs, crisp air, and Nordic determination for the first edition in 2026
