This Sunday, November 16, 2025, the iconic Paseo de la Reforma transformed CDMX has the 21th stage of the Tour de France on the Champs-Élysées for the 10th edition of L’Étape Ciudad de México by Tour de France.
Under the majestice Angel of Independence, 2,000 cyclists experience a unique event, capturing the magic and intensity of the Tour de France.
A spectacular route through Mexico City
Starting at 6:30 a.m., participants started from Avenida Reforma to ride a course that highlighted some of the most iconic sights of the Mexican capital.
Between architectural modernity and historical heritage, cyclists enjoyed a vibrant, contrasting, and fully immersive urban journey.
Three distances for an experience accessible to all
This edition offered three formats adapted to each participant’s abilities and goals, welcoming both beginners and seasoned riders, with categories ranging from 16 to 70+ years old:
- Sprint Stage: 34 km
- Short Stage: 60 km
- Long Stage: 110 km
A setup designed to guarantee safety, challenge, and enjoyment, in true Tour de France spirit.
A cultural and sporting celebration
The event once again showcased the sporting spirit and cultural richness of Mexico City.
With an amazing organization, an enthusiastic atmosphere, and exceptional urban scenery, L’Étape Ciudad de México by Tour de France continues to place cycling at the heart of the capital.
In this 10th edition, the event reaffirms its mission: bringing every cyclist closer to the dream of riding a race inspired by the Tour de France, offering an unforgettable moment infused with the unique energy of Mexico City.
Closing an exceptional year
Today marked the final of our 2025 season in Mexico.
After six events that took us across the country from north to south, east to west, we now turn our focus toward the upcoming season, which already promises to be an exciting one.
