A true Tour de France atmosphere along the roads
One of the most special feelings of the day was certainly the unique spectator atmosphere. Every villages along the route became the time of the race a fan zones, with local fire brigades, families, and school groups lining the roads with flags, music, ... In the town of Zbečno, riders were welcomed by a brass band and cheering children waving handmade signs. In Městečko, locals offered refreshments and loud encouragements that echoed off the stone walls like stage finishes in the Pyrenees.

Wiggins, the Yellow Jersey Presence
A major highlight of the 2025 edition was the presence of Sir Bradley Wiggins, 2012 Tour de France winner and five-time Olympic gold medalist, who served as the event's official ambassador. After a first visit in April, Wiggins came back to Czech Republic for the main event, engaging with fans, signing autographs, and sharing stories from his legendary career.
“Being part of something like this, where the fans are as passionate as anywhere in France, brings it all back [...] You can feel the energy in every village.”
Alongside Sir Bradley Wiggins, the Czech cycling legend Zdeněk Štybar was also part of the event, adding a local hero’s touch to this very prestigious lineup.

While officially a mass participation event, the front of the race played out like a tactical chess match on two wheels. After some attacks in the rolling routes of Prague, it was Jan BRŇÁK who made the decisive move on the final climb to take the crown of the Hilly Stage. In the female race, it's Kristýna ZEMANOVÁ who crossed the line in the first position. Behind him, groups of riders fought their own battles : temprature, cramps, time limit, ... but all were carried forward by an unrelenting wave of support !
From first-time sportive riders to seasoned gran fondo veterans, the event offered every cyclist a chance to feel like a pro for a day. It also marked the 5th edition of the event, growing now into one of the most prestigious amateur events in Central Europe.
