1st Edition of L’Étape Tlaxcala by Tour de France 2025
The event took place on June 29, 2025, with 1,500 cyclists participating in the inaugural edition of L'Étape Tlaxcala by Tour de France.
We were honored by the presence of Governor Lorena Cuéllar, who supported this major sporting celebration.
The standout winners were Venezuelan cyclist Omar Ibrahin and local rider Daniela Castro.

The event featured two race distances:
-
Short route: 80 km
-
Long route: 118 km
The start and finish lines were located in the Plaza de la Constitución, in the heart of the Historic Center of Tlaxcala. Framed by colorful colonial architecture and centuries-old churches, riders were immersed in the vibrant spirit of Mexican culture from dawn to finish.
Wearing a beautiful commemorative jersey, cyclists took off at 6:30 a.m. and rode through a challenging yet spectacular route filled with natural beauty, rolling hills, and enthusiastic local crowds. The festive atmosphere, infused with mariachi sounds, traditional flavors, and warm hospitality, made this experience truly unforgettable.
L'Étape Tlaxcala by Tour de France 2025 offered fans the chance to live the thrill of the greatest celebration of French cycling — with a proudly Mexican twist.
