Why everyone wants to ride L’Étape du Tour de France?

L’Étape du Tour de France is the world’s most prestigious sportive. Since 1993, it has given amateur cyclists the unique opportunity to ride a legendary stage of the Tour de France, just days before the pros.

Fully closed roads, the electrifying Tour de France atmosphere, an epic start line and world-class feed stations: it is the ultimate challenge for any amateur cyclist. In July 2026, 15.000 riders took on 170 km and 5,400 m of climbing between Le Bourg-d’Oisans and Alpe d’Huez.

With demand growing every year, bibs now disappear within hours. Waiting for public registration is no longer enough.

The best way to secure your place: ride a L’Étape Series event
